Yes, they really are made from actual bagels. Each ornament begins as a specially made mini bagel that is carefully dehydrated and finished with multiple coats of protective sealer, so your favorite breakfast can hang on the tree year after year.
The idea started when a friend who was working as a bagel baker agreed to help experiment with a slightly crazy idea: preserving real bagels. After perfecting the process, the result was these lightweight, giftable ornaments, a conversation starter for anyone who loves bagels (and who doesn't?).

- Four varieties: Everything, Plain, Poppyseed, or Sesame
- Approximately 3" W × 2.5" H
- Hand formed and naturally unique, with variations in size, shape, color, and seed placement
- Hanging loop threaded through the center for easy display
- Packaged in a white bakery-style window gift box with a black-and-white checkerboard liner
- Handmade in Hadley, Massachusetts
- Made from real preserved food. For decoration only. Do not eat. Keep away from children and pets.
Shipping
Most orders ship for a flat $10 — free on orders over $100. A few oversized or fragile items (framed art, wood-panel engravings, ski trail maps) ship for a flat $30 due to size and weight.
