Kat is an illustrator, lover of the outdoors, and cat mom based in Saco, Maine. Her illustrations celebrate the places — both urban and wild — that bring us joy, peace, and comfort in New England. Inspired by hiking, skiing, and biking across New England’s diverse landscapes, Kat’s illustration journey began in the White Mountains, where she first popped her head above the treeline and was hooked. When an old injury kept her from the trails, she began drawing the mountains that had become her refuge.
